Rash on body resulting from having actinic kerotosis elsewhere

I have actinic kerotosis on face.  Lately rashes have appeared on legs, arms and back.  Dermo said rashes were sebborheic kerotosis.  Has anyone heard of a response from the ak causing a rash elsewhere on body?  These areas are red, raised, very itchy.  Treated with cortisone prescription ointment.  Four months and they are still there.  Could this be a type of autoimmune response to the ak?

Thanks for your replys.

Have blood tests for Celiac disease.  It is getting to be very common, and it causes a very itchy skin condition in some people.

Hello,
An actinic keratosis may be the earliest form of squamous cell carcinoma. This type of cancer usually isn't life-threatening if detected and treated early. Seborrheic keratosis is a form of benign skin growth. I would suggest to get these itchy areas biopsied to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
