Rash that comes and goes, itches, and feels like a bruise.

For the past 5 days I've been getting recurring rashes in random places. They stay no more then 2 minutes and disappear. Sometimes there flat then next they might resemble red goose-bumps. They can also be very sore at times. I have not changed my detergent, my soap, or my meal recipes. I'm doubtful it's scabies because i sleep during the day and stay up at night and they don't usually come at night. I'm a bit afraid they might spread to family and friends and would love to know how to cure whatever it is i have.

Have you looked up images of Purpura?

Have you searched any dermatology rash related images on the internet to try and make sense of it?

I'm just asking because that helps people a lot of the time.

I hope you figure it out soon.

Hello,
From your symptoms the possibility of hives also needs to be ruled out. Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours.

Hence I suggest you to get it ruled out by consulting a dermatologist. Treatment can be planned only after confirming the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello, I am wondering if you found out what was causing the rash that would come and go and feel like a bruise. I have had this for over a month. I hope you are feeling better and if you know anything, could you please tell me? Doctors havent helped me and everytime I see them, there is no rash to point out. Thank you so much - I appreciate it.
