Rash that fades with UV

by Spanky, Jul 01, 2001 12:00AM
I have a rash at the top of my leg that does not itch is not raised just gets very red,it is about the size of a baseball If I go into a tanning booth it fades considerably after only two visits but does not go away I have never gone tanning for more than 3 visits so I don't know if it would ever go away totaly. Any Ideas. I have tried Naftin cream with no results.

Sorry, but this reminds me of nothing I am familiar with.  A fungus would go away wuth Naftin.  Eczema would not get batter with tanning.  Perhaps it's yeast, which Naftin doesn't help--try clotrimazole 1% (OTC) for 10 days.  If that fails, show a doctor.

Best.
