Rash under both arms and in groan area

I developed a rash on Monday with the rash being around my groan to my buttocks, and under both my arm pits. I went to the doctor and she was not helpful at all. She had no idea she thought maybe a yeast infection but didn't know and she simply said I bet you are going to get sick with a viral infections. I know you can get rashes from viral infections, but I am not sick, no fever and to have a rash in these places doesn't sound like a viral infection. I orignially went to her because I felt a lump under my left arm which I thought was a swollen lymph node, and my doctor agreed but I will go for more testing could the swollen lymph node have anything to do with the weird rash in this most uncomfortable place? Thanks for any help.

I think you mean groin. But there are a lot of possibilities. Yeast is a definite possibility. You could try over the counter medication for yeast. Sweating can cause this. If it persists go to the Gynecologist.
