Rash under foreskin on head of penis

Rash under foreskin on head of penis

Hi about 3 months ago I noticed a rash on the head of my penis and under the forskin. It consisted of small pen point sized red dots that appeared to be darker in the center or have a crater in the center of them. They weren't blistery or raised or filled with any kind of fluid or puss. After a few days it got a little worse and the skin appeared to peel on the head of my penis and have blotchy red spots all over it. The whole thing lasted about 4 or 5 days. This was in the middle of lacrosse season. However now they are back. This time as soon as i noticed one red dot i immediately began applying triple antibiotic cream and after a day it went away. Then a week later I hadn't showered that day and at the end of the night I noticed a few more dots back on the head of my penis. After work I went home and applied more triple antibiotic and the red dots have dimmed and become less bright. It doesn't look like any herpes pictures I have found online and these red dots certainly do not pop believe me i have tried. I'm scared as to what this might be please give me suggestions to relieve my wandering mind. i am going to my doctor in a month and will ask for an std screening. Thank you
