Rash

This is for Dr. Rockoff  (preferably)

Hi, Iam a 22 year old male. About 2 months ago i noticed a rash on the base of my penis, about the size of a dime or smaller. Where the pubic hair starts to come up my penis. It stayed on me for bout 2 weeks and went away. A month after that a girl gave me unprotected oral sex and thats it. I did not touch her in her vaginal area in any way.  About a month after that i drank heavily 1 night and woke up with that rash in the same place.  I started to apply hydrocortison on it a couple times a day and it looked like it was bout to go away.  My gf came back to town and we started to have sex.(she knew the rash was there).  Well now its been over 2 weeks and the rash has gotten worse.  I think from friction from sex.  It's scabbed in a certain area and is swelled up. Almost pinkish but mainly red and it has a shiny look to it.  I haven't had sex in 3 days and it doesn't seem to be healing.  I also noticed that i have these small like pinkish raisded bumps. only 1 or 2  Almost like blisters.. The rash area looks like a clear substance is coming out of it. not very much though.  When i apply hydrocortison or some "Renew Lotion" it seems to go down.  In that same area where my hair comes out it looks like a crater thats swollen up but the hair is in the middle sticking out.  Iam not sure what this is and i hope its not herpes.  Please help thx  (This is my second question for the same thing)

This sounds like irritation from friction.  Fir that to go away takes not just abstinence but time.  Please do yourself a favor and show this to a doctor who can make a definitive diagnosis.  Meantime, moisturizing with an antibiotic ointment like bacitracin or neosporin would be best.

Best.
