Rashes all over Body

My GF has taken a medicine called lamitor helping her to calm down her mood and depression.

After 3 weeks, she has rashes all over her body, the face, arm, stomach, back, leg, thighs etc. Can lamitor cause such serious rashes? Those rashes some are red patches, some are red dots (very closed to each others).

I am having HSV 1 genital, can Herpes spread her whole body? Or those rashes are due to lamitor?

What shall she do? She is in the hospital now. I am very upset and depress of her condition.

Can she be cured? Tell me what to do. Please

You are a doctor? A dermatologist?

My GF did not tell the hospital that I am having GHSV 1. She is shy to tell the hospital that I have GHSV 1 as I am not with her at the moment. I am in overseas.

I have searched through the internet that systemic herpes infection is very rare. Further, HSV 1 is a mild herpes, will it cause such serious infection?

Till today, my GF still did not know whether she is infected with GHSV 1 or not as she does not want to go for testing.

Hi, Lamitor contains the drug Lamotrigine. Like all chemical compounds, this drug may also induce allergic reactions to its usage anytime. Even though you have not said that in your post, the description points me to that diagnosis.

I think this is related to the drug only and you may not think of this as a systemic herpes infection. I am sure that in the hospital the doctors would take good care of your girlfriend and give here the best possible care.

Let me know if you may need any more help/information
