, as well as the area between the anus and the scotum and inner thighs. I checked the epidydimus for inflammation and found nothing, yet the worry caused me to see a doctor. The doctor told me that it is a yeast infection, not uncommon in most people male or female
, especially during colder months when people wear more layers. He prescribed me Fucanazole 200 mg (diflucan) for 10 days and it seemed to clear up the problem. Recently though it has returned, only not as bad. For a long time, I didnt take my anxiety meds until a few days ago due to increasing anxiety and panic attacks, and the recurrence seems to coincide. Only, I seem to have a yeast infection on my tongue as well now and I don't know why. There is also a reddish brown discoloration underneath the shaft of the penis I did not notice before, as well as the head of the penis becoming discoloured in a slightly greenish/yellow brown fashion. Since the doc said it was a yeast infection before, I assumed it was merely likewise on the penis. There are tiny whitish raised bumps closer to the base of the shaft, similar to Candidiasis underneath the scrotum and those found in my mouth. I am 29 years old, and have had sex with a total of 10 people in my lifetime, half of which I'd estimate was unprotected. The most recent time being a month or two ago, also unprotected. I have no other symptoms aside from this, no painful discharge no legions or sores, no warts that I have found. Due to my increasingly severe panic attacks, anxiety and hypochondria, however, I cannot help but be overly concerned. Since the yeast infection has returned, I have been eating plain unsweetened yogurt, been taking garlic pills and eating lean proteins and veggies. Ive started this regimen today (Saturday, jan 7th) so its too soon to report on any significant improvements. I have a doctors appointment scheduled for Thursday, but in the meantime I'm seeking some medical advice as to what this may be. Also, could my medication have anything to do with it? As far as I know anxiety meds can cause dry mouth and a slight lowering of the immune system. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
