Recurrent balanitis or irritation?

by jayfrank, Jul 24, 2007 12:00AM
Hi, i am uncircumsiced after having unprotected sex with my gf for the first time and simutaneoulsy taking antibiotics i developed what i thought was a yeast infection because there was a milky discharge. I applied yogurt and scrubbed the area preety vigorously. A few days later my penis was all white and patchy so i went to a urologist. The urologist told me im fine and just to wash it and if doesnt go away i would have to get circumsiced. I was very skeptical with the doctors comments so i applied cloritamozle cream for 10 days which seemed to help but then i developed a reddish rash on my penis as well as white flakes under the foreskin. I started cleaning more and better under my foreskin and they symptoms seemed to be gone however when i would masterbate my penis would become white and flaky after orgasm and tiny red dots would appear all over my penis, as well as the whole penis become more red. I decided to go to a dermatologist and he said that the penis looks healthy, and nothings there however this was a couple of weeks ago and now after masterbating (masturbating) two days in a row my penis looks quite red with little tiny dots all over. Is this reoccuring balanitis or am i aggrivating the previous infection? Where did i develop this condition and how do i get rid of it?  Please help.. Thanks

I don;t think you have an infection, so I don't think there's anything for you to get rid of.  The changes you describe are consistent with friction from sex or masturbation.  My advice is to treat the skin gently and ignore the symptoms.  If there was anything there, the dermatologist would have seen it.  If you still have doubts, see the doctor again.  But mostly, don't worry.

Best.
