Since my daughter was little she has periodically gotten ringworm on her legs or arms. I think once on her face. What causes this and why does she keep getting them? I've never gotten ringworm in my life. I was told when she was little that maybe she played in dirt that a cat had been in or something. But that doesn't explain things anymore since she's a teen. She's very clean and conscious of her appearance. She takes showers every day. Why does she keep getting ringworm? Is there something that can be done other than the standard anti-fungal cream we use? Can anything be done to keep from getting them?
