I have these strange red crater like lines going around my whole upper thigh region. They don't itch in the slightest, but I have had them for some time now and wanted to know just what it could be. They look kinda out of the ordinary and just wanted to make sure its nothing serious I should worry about.
Hello,
These red crater like lines can be due to stretch marks. Stretch marks occurs when the dermis (2nd layer of the skin) are frequently or continuously stretched causing tearing of the skin and lead
to scarring. These marks happen commonly during pregnancy, weight gain, muscle building, on areas of the upper arms, breasts, abdomen, lower back, hips
and thighs. There are many treatment choices available for stretch marks like over-the-counter creams or lotions, tretinoin cream, laser therapy.
I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
