Red Itchy Bumps all over my body lasting over 3 weeks now

Hi, it started off as what looked like 2 insect bites on my back. They grew in size n had pus in it so the doc told me to put a warm compress on it n wash it with soap n it'll be fine. Next morning i woke up to find a huge red itchy bumps all over my legs. These bumps had a little pus-like spot right in the middle. Doc gave me some steroid cream which didnt help at all. Then I woke up the next morning to find my hands burning n itchy. So i rubbed both of my hands together and then these big blisters grew immediately. They were on the soles of my hands and fingers and toes. Doc put me on steroids for 6 days which controlled the itching. Then the 2 orginal insect bites grew back and he sent me to a dermatologist. My diagnose was an insect bite that caused a bad reaction which made my hands blister called an id itch i believe. The bumps on my legs that had spread throughout my body now he said is folliculitis. He gave a shot that last for 2 weeks, stronger steroid cream, and allegra for the itching. 1 week later, I am still getting new small red itchy bumps on my legs and arms and back..... I DONT KNOW WAT THIS COULD BE and I am extremely extremely frustrated..... could this be something more serious??? Should i worry??

I had a biopsy done on one of the itchy bumps on my back and the results came in but the nurse said that there's no definite answer so the doctor needs to talk it over with a pathologist.... my heart sank, im at lost for words, im just so frustrated with all of this. It's been over a month and they keep popping up. It seems like they have spread to every inch of my body. They first started off on my legs and eventually went away. Then I had blisters on my hands which are slowly going away. Then it spread up to my thighs but are now gone also. Now they're on my arms and my stomach and not so much on my back anymore. I've also went ahead and got an STD with HIV test done at my gyno just to rule out everything. I really really hope that it's not STD or HIV related.... I should get all of my results back tomorrow. Hopefully they're good news......

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Since the itchy bumps spread overnight and are generalized on the whole body, hence the possibility of viral rash or an allergic reaction needs to be ruled out. To confirm the diagnosis and the allergens if you are allergic to any of them, I would suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist. Till then take antihistaminics like Benadryl, apply the prescribed steroid cream and wear cotton clothes.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
