Red Itchy Shiny Skin on Leg

Hi,

On my right lower leg i have this type of red itchy spots which are inflatted at times. Most important it is also very dry and the skin seems shiny and peels at times.

This has happened for the past few months and i have an apointment with a dermatologist in the next month.

In the meantime i would like you opinion on this. Can this be cancer? or related to anything extremely serious?

No, it cannot be cancer.  It may be eczema.  Apply over-the-counter 1% hydrocortisone twice a day. don't pick or scratch the skin, and wait till you see the doctor.
