Red. Itchy bumps over body.

I keep on having these red, itchy bumps all over my body. They started about 3 weeks ago. At first I believed they were bedbugs bites. I had 2 different exterminators looking for bugs. Did not find a single bug of any kind. The red, itchy, look-like-bites are more on my ankles, in both sides of legs, in the back (around the area where is my bra). Went to my Dr he said I have chicken pox (this was my 2nd time in 18 years), no fever. I got a little better with the meds, but these itchy bumps are still all over my body. I live with my two young children, they don't have a single bite. My problem is that I still keep on getting these itchy bumps. New ones everyday, they start very small and itchy, then grow to be red and like a mosquito bite. They fade after a few days.  I have two small birds. These bites could be in a series of 3, 4, 10 or more in a  group,  and some others scattered in 1. I itchy all day long, at nights a little more intense. Please help.

Thanks very much for answering my questions and concerns! As a matter of fact I started using an antibacterial soap a few days ago and also I had the whole house exterminated. A couple I days later I started to see improvements on my skin, and as of today I don't itch anymore. I will see a dermatologist next week, but so far I still believe I was getting flares from the chicken pox. I was so scared they were bugs in my home!
Thank you so much

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These can be insect bites, viral rashes, contact dermatitis or scabies bites. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort. If there is any itching antihistaminics like Benadryl or Claritin can be taken.
If the symptoms persist then get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
