HELP! I got this weird rash on my leg upper thigh arear about the size of a half dollar (somewhat itchy) not raised. Red/Pink not really raised and not flaky. I also had this rash on my scrotom (somewhat itchy). I went to the ER and they gave me clormitrazole. I am a hyperchondriac so I went to my primary
care doc. He gave me hydrocortizone and said it would go away. Now toady 1 1/2 week later the thigh rash just about gone but the scrotum rash turned pink with a border around the scrotum. What the heck is this and is it serious, STD, Virus etc???? And how do I get rid of it...
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be eczema, lichen sclerosis or psoriasis. It does not sound like shingles.Shingles appears as small, fluid-filled blisters which begin to dry out and crust over within several days.
Eczema is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction
is one of the important causes of eczema. Psoriasis is a long-term (chronic) skin problem that causes skin cells to grow too quickly, resulting in thick, white, silvery, or red patches
