Red Sore Sticky Lips

A couple months ago, I had oral sex with this girl and a couple days after my lips were burning all over, they were also dry and sticky. This over time became less severe with uncomfortable stickyness making my lips irritated and causing me to lick them and gain a small red lining underneath my bottom lip. Another problem I have is that my tongue is coated strongly white. My doctor took a swab and it came back negative for thrush. Ive done my research and will soon take some multivitamins to see if that helps. My doctor seems to not worry much about the white tongue or irritated lips and told me to "Use lip balm". Which helps temporarily, but I never had this problem prior to that night

Are you concerned that this might be an STD of some type?  I'd continue using lip balm (make sure it's a good quality) and stay hydrated with plenty of water.  A white tongue and chapped lips can be signs of dehydration.  If you don't see improvement, go back for a follow up again- or to a different doctor for a second opinion.

Yeah I had discharge from my penis which instantly sent alarm bells ringing in my head. I quickly headed to the doctors, I told her my symptoms and she gave me treatment for Chlamydia. Ive had 2 urine tests and both came back negative for gonorrhea. Ive also had a bit of pain and itching around my penis. Not as much since I took the antibiotics for the chlamydia. Ive also had slight anal itching. This makes we feel as if I could have gotten hsv 2.
The urine tests also came back negative for chlamydia. Ive had no active outbreaks of cold sores yet, ive suffered from acne in the past and I did develop spots which cleared within days.
I don't think that you have hsv 2- keep up on the water and lip balm (again- make sure it's a quality one, some brands will dehydrate your lips more than help), and follow up with your doctor or a new doctor with any additional concerns or symptoms that persist.  Let us know how you are doing!
Cheers will do. Thanks for the help!
