Red Spots on Skin

A few months ago I noticed a red spot on my arm. It didn't hurt or itch at all. However, it seemed a little dry. I would put lotion on it and it would get rid of the dryness but a few hours later it would be just as flaky. When I went to my doctor I pointed it out to her. And she didnt seem to have any idea what it was and had to bring it another doctor for a second opinion. This doctor said that it looked like "Impetigo" and they gave me a cream to put on it that would clear it up. After several weeks of using the cream, it didnt seem to show any sign of improvement. Not only thought I got another spot on my upper stomach and another on my neck. My mother has psoriasis so I get really nervous that it may be that. But when I was at the doctor I told her that and she said that "it didnt look like psoriasis" I'm not quite sure what to do about it. The spots do not bother me at all, just the physical appearance does. After about 3 months of having these spots, today the spot on my arm has seemed to evolve into a perfect circle. With only a tiny dry spot in the middle of circle. The other two spots I have however, have remained the same.

very difficult to comment with out pic.Could be sebhorreic dermatitis,pityriasis rosea which can be of no great problem.Psoriasis will come under differential diagnosis.
