So I wore long underwear a few days ago while I slept. When I woke up there were three 1/4" diameter red bumps in the pubicPubic lice region, below belt line and above the "below parts". They feel almost like they are filled with something solid/semisolid and are semi uncomfortable when agitated. Any ideas on what this is?
From the symptoms it sounds like sebaceous prominence or infected hair follicles. Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep us posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
