Red bumps under arms, on breast and in genitals area after spider bite

About 6 weeks ago I believe I was bitten by a poisonous spider on my leg.  The bite was small originally, but became infected, grew to the size of a coffee cup, and became swollen and very painful--I could hardly walk for a couple of days.  I went to my family doctor who said it was a spider bite and put me on antibiotics.  The infection went away--swelling went down, pain went away.  I have a large purple/blue/black/red "scar" left that sometimes itches but is not very painful.  About 3 weeks ago, "bumps" started popping up in my genital area, on my nipple and in my arm pits.  The first day there were 2 in my genital area, then 2 more the next day under 1 arm, then 1 on my nipple, and yesterday there were 2 more under the other arm.  The ones in the genital area are shrinking.  The ones under my arms are reddish/purple.  They are tender to touch and feel like lumps under the skin.  They are about the size of large peas, some oblong rather than round.  I have applied hydrocortizone and warm compresses.  I need to know what this is and how to make it stop.  HELP!

The purplish "scar" you describe is what gets left over after any inflammation on the legs.  It takes many months to go away and requires no treatment.  As to the other rash, which I cannot relate to the spider bite, you need to see a doctor in person.  This may be a bacterial infection.  If so, antibiotics may be required.  In any case, you need proper diagnosis, which may involve cultures or other tests.  This will take a visit to a live doctor.

Best.
