Red bumps

Hi,

I've had rashes of red bumps around the pubic region which were rather itchy. They go away on their own if left alone. This usually appears after irritation or after being very hot. I went to a doctor who said it was scabies, but I could not believe this since they never found a single scabies-bug, nor were there the red lines connecting the bumps. Additionally, medicated lice shampoos only irritated it worse. Also I have small whitish bumps on my scrotum (almost one per hair follicle) which are OK but if irritated, sometimes turn into pimple-like things.
Also, when I shave, I get red bumps, sometimes with a whitish center, on my neck. Is there a way to avoid any of these things?
Thanks!
Ryan

I think you're going to need to show your problem to a dermatologist.  It sounds like either blocked follicles (from heat, friction, etc., or normal anatomy (cysts on the scrotum.)  While it's almost certainly not an infection or anything of consequence, this is a situation where a good look is required.

Best.
