Red bumps

I'm not sure what these red bumps are... It popped up just today this morning.  I played volleyball yesterday and slept for the rest of the day.  I didn't shower or anything because I was too tired.  While I showered in warm water this morning, I realized there are seven red bumps all on one thigh.  Four are in a diagonal row .  It wasn't itching at all until some hours later.  Soon I felt an itch on my upper arm and I scratched it a bit.  A little bit later, a red bump pops up at that same itching spot.  Now, another red bump pops up on one of my hands after it started itching.  These bumps aren't bigger than a penny by the way, but not that small either.  It's VERY noticeable... especially 7 of them on my left thigh..

I really, really want to get rid of these bumps asap, especially on my thighs since I play volleyball in shorts.  Do you have any idea what these red bumps could possibly be?

Please, help.

I haven't been traveling, but I've had past bug bites because of ticks from my dog and my cat.
Could that possibly be it?
So, if it's called a bite reaction, I got all these red bumps from one bite ?!

If you have rash in a diagnoal row the bite cause may be bedbugs.Did you travel out? This  we call as Cimicosis,a bite reaction.Calamine external should do.The linear leisions makes one think thus.
