Red bumpy rash on upper thigh

Around a month ago i had protected sex with a girl i know, and about a week ago i have developed a bumpy red rash on my upper thigh. I have had constant problems with jock itch over the last year, but it usually appears as a solid red not dots. They appear in the area under the testicles and are really itchy, but its worse on the right side. I have put lotrimin jock itch spray on them, and used a body powder to keep  it dry, but nothing is seeming to work. Im starting to get concerned that maybe its herpes or scabies. At night i sometimes get small red circular marks (not bumps) on my penis shaft after masturbating that are fairly uncomfortable, but they go away quickly. Does this sound like an STD?

Continue with the spray and powder for a few more days.  Fungal infection may take a few weeks to be treated. Genital herpes usually presents with a blistery lesion and sometimes with flu-like symptoms. Definite diagnosis is through visual examination and blood testing for antibodies. On the other hand, scabies is characterized with intense itching at night and sometimes bumps on other parts of the body. If your symptoms persists, have this evaluated further for proper management.  Try to avoid scratching and always keep the area clean and dry.
