I have noticed lately, more then usual, I am getting red spots on my upper arms. I can count at least several dozen on both arms, plus a small cluster of them on my right elbow area. I have had them on and off pretty much my whole life. They are about the size of a pen tip and bright red. Just kinda curious what they are, and if I should be worried. Pictures attached
Unfortunately the pictures were not very clear ,but from the symptoms it can be cherry angiomas or folliculitis. Cherry angiomas are made up of clusters of tiny capillaries at the surface of the skin, forming a small round dome ("papule"), which may be flat topped.
When they first develop, they may be only a tenth of a millimeter in diameter and almost flat, appearing as small red dots.Pls don’t worry as they are harmless.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
