Red flat dots, some burning urination, scared guy

hey everyone, i have just noticed recently these red dots that have been appearing on my body. they are round, red, flat, and have some dry skin on top of them. one of them appeared on my top abdomen, another on my waistline, and then a recent outbreak of them occured mainly on the right side of my groin area, mainly alongside the inner leg/groin crease and some on the left side along the same region, just like i described them. no pain or itching is involved. i noticed the one on my abdomen before my girlfriend came to visit. 3-4 days ago we went on this long 7 mile long hike in some of these hills, and the day after i noticed the "rash" in that groin area place. and now recently i have felt very slight burning sensation when i urinate (im a guy by the way). im just scared that it might be an STI, but i have only kissed my girlfriend. there are no sores at all on testicles or at all on my penis, and the red spot on my abs was there before my girlfriend came to visit (first time visitng, she lives in LA). so any help would be great, im just really scared and want to know what it is, thanks

i had the main red circle on my ab like a week and a half ago, and then later on just one or two more dots lower down but not groin. then day after hike, i noticed in the shower the patch of red flat dots with peeling skin in the crease and area by where the groin and inner thigh meet on my right leg, and a few on the left. and nothing from that point on. and i have taken my contact out last nite, and it hurt a little bit to take it out, and next morning (today) i had a bit of a pink eye, but i did have some soap on my hand so that could have been it, but im just worried if the rash is herpes, that i got ocular herpes, so any advice that can calm my nerves would be much appreciated :)

Well, if what your saying is you went hiking and or the red bump was there prior to the hike and touched the spot it could of spread to that area and if it was from hiking the same thing could of happened and since you are going to the doctors i'm sure they are going to tell you it's not an STD. Hope you feel better

i am going into the doctors tomorrow to get it checked out, and i think it might be Pityriasis Rosea just from what i have found on the internet and from my experience. would that sound right?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

This may be a case of allergic dermatitis. Differentials may include an allergic reaction, bleeding problems or something infectious. You have mentioned of factors that may be contributory and these include hiking in the woods. Wash the area with a mild cleanser such as Cetaphil. You may apply 0.05% Fluocinonide cream thinly over the spots for 3 days. Do this twice daily. See if there will be any improvement noted here. If no improvement is noted, have this assessed by a dermatologist. Watch out for any changes in urine character. For dark colored urine, increase in the sizes and number of the spots as well as nose bleed or gum bleeding, I suggest prompt consult with a doctor.
