Red marks on face, 1st appeared after doxycycline

Hi!

I was on doxycycline around july/august last year for lyme and after finishing the prescription red marks appeared on my chin and under my nose.

These marks have remained since then, although at most times they seem dormant. They are at their worst after I don't shave for a while, when I finally shave they are very red and visible. If i shave daily they are hardly noticeable. I am 29 male

From your symptoms I would suggest you to get fixed drug eruption ruled out. FDE or fixed drug eruption may fade slowly and so may take a long time to go away. Although they resolve spontaneously but an oral antihistamine (e.g., hydroxyzine) and a topical corticosteroid may be needed. I would suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated.
