Red rash/bumps at tip of shaft

Just yesterday I noticed I had a small rash/bumps on my penis. They look pretty dry and red and they can be a little itchy. I've had unprotected sex a few times in the last few months and I was just wondering if it could be an STD.
I have a picture but i'm not sure if you can see it very well, but it does seem to be getting better.

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub, folliculitis, cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
