Red rash forming on tops of feet/toes/ankles/calves sometimes.

I just don't know what it is. It's sometimes tender to the touch, and usually is just little red dots (not bumpy at all) and sometimes just splotches of red too. It does not itch, but it hurts if you scratch it too hard/let it touch hot water.

I'll get it randomly, for the most part. I can't seem to track anything that I'm allergic to (nothing that I know of), and I switched to wearing all cotton socks (instead of any other material) and it does not help. sometimes I get it when wearing sneakers, sometimes in boots. Sometimes I get in the summer, and it's not winter and I still get it.

I included a picture. If anyone knows what this even is, that would be helpful.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to contact dermatitis, allergic reaction or hives. Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours.

Many cases of hives are "idiopathic," meaning no cause is known. Others may be triggered by viral infections or medications. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

Also use mild steroid cream after consulting your doctor.
If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
