This may be a case of contact dermatitis or a fungal infection. Have you used any lotions or cream on the area which could have caused this. Balanitis is a condition which is not necessarily sexually transmitted. It involves the head or glans of the penis and may be caused by a fungal and bacterial infections. Other causes may be dermatitic conditions.
I suggest that you have this assessed by a dermatologist. You may need topical antifungals and corticosteroids to abate this. Do not self medicate as the penile skin is very fragile and sensitive. Inappropriate medications may only cause further irritation.
This may be case of irritant contact dermatitis.Try changing your body wash. You may not have used the body wash directly on your penis but using it on your body may have exposed the genitals to the wash anyways. This does not sound infectious due to the whitish and not yellowish or greenish discharge noted.
It is best to have this assessed by your physician. You may need topical corticosteroid creams for the itching . In the absence of a significant sexual history , an infectious process is not likely.
Hi, a few weeks ago i started to notice after having a shower that my foreskin was peeling and was all whitish. Ive been to the doctors and he gave me fucidin ointment 2% it says to apply 3 times daily so i did, since using the oinment the peeling had stopped but now my foreskin is really sore and itchy and it burns when i pee. alsothe tip has gone bright red like a blood colour, multiple spots have acurred lots of really small onces, you can only just see them with the naked eye.
im going back to the doctors soon buut i would like to know what you think.

Is there any associated scaling or itchiness?
Any yellowish or greenish discharge?
