Red spots/bumps

I have red bumps that appear then disappear on the penis head.  The bumps/spots don't hurt or have any puss.  No burning while urinating.  I also have  the beginning of an enlarged prostate.  Are they related?

I've had periodic spasms that feel like its coming from my lower abdominal although hard to pinpoint. I periodically have urges to urinate frequently and recently had a rash on the tip of my penis.  No sexual activities in the last 4 months.

I visited my doctor and urinalysis did not show any infection but given Sulfa( antibiotic) for urination frequency and a cream for yeast inflection.  The red bumps/spots come and go.  Just wondering what it could be....appreciate any feedback.

can the flomax be causing the rash/bumps on the penile gland?  I just thought of this and would of asked the Urologist.

Thanks for the response.  I waited until I saw my Urologist today before i responded.  He did not seem concerned about the spots (significantly less today).  He just said everything looks healthy.  No lesions was his response.  I am going to a dermatologist as you suggested for further evaluation.  Maybe I'm over-reacting.

I'm doing a urodynamic evaluation to evaluate bladder and then a cystoscopy for further evaluation of the prostate in the next few weeks.

I did not mention in my initial post about the discharge get after a stool (not always).  I guess all leading to the prostate.

It just seems every time I have penile discomfort, I see these spots/bumps.

thanks again.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello there,
A clinical examination is important for exact diagnosis. Based on your symptoms it could be possible that it is probably some form if irritation since the penis skin is very sensitive. This does not sound like a STD .Spots on the penis are very common and most of them do not have a serious cause. Pearly penile papules are multiple, small papules running around the circumference of the crown of the glans penis. They typically develop in men between ages of 20 to 40.Fordyce’s spots are tiny red papules seen on the glans; scrotum. They are not infectious and require no treatment. In other condition like psoriasis there are thickened red papules or plaques with a scaly surface. Fungal infection is other most likely possibility if there is itching. Yeast needs heat and moisture to survive on the skin. There can be discharge from the penis with itching and uncomfortable feeling. Get it seen by a dermatologist. I sincerely hope it helps.
Take care and regards!
