I have red chin area (under my mouth).
So I have tried everything:
First my doktor found that it is dermatitis. So she gave me antibiotics : Doxy-M-tatiopharm for 3 months. NO HELP
Next visit she thought that it might me contact dermatitis and gave me : Fluconazol Nycomed for 1 month. NO HELP
So this doctor gave up and says that you have to live with it.
I went to another doctor. Told everything that I have been done.
Doctor gave me Tetracylin Nycomed and thought that it might be Perioral dermatitis. I taked it about 1 month. NO HELP
So I changed my doctor again and told her everything that has been done.
She thought it might be mites or something like "demodex" . We made some tests, but there was no mites.
But She gave me anyway th antibiotics fór mites ( metronidazol nycomed) For 10 Days. NO HELP
I have dried so many creams and stuff... no help.  think tat doctors are all wrong.

I will add pictures about my condition.(NB: MORE PHOTOS UNDER MY PROFILE) ( I have dry skin and for me is problem ingrown hairs also)

CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE?

Hello,
From the symptoms it looks more like perioral dermatitis rather than mites. Perioral dermatitis like acne is a chronic papulopustular and eczematous facial dermatitis. It mostly effects women and appear around the nose, mouth and eyes. Treatment consists of oral antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. A mild soap or soap substitute, such as Dove or Cetaphil should be used for washing. Scrubbing should be avoided.

Doxycycline is the preferred antibiotic for perioral dermatitis but minocycline can also be used. In unresponsive and granulomatous forms, oral isoterinoin may also be considered. Pimecrolimus cream can also be used. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and discuss these treatment options with your dermatologist.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
