Redness/Skin regrowth on Face?

by nirvines88, Sep 02, 2008 09:08AM
A year ago I scratched my face some, which did some damage to my skin.  Ever since then my face has been red and scaly typically, the only time I had it under control was when I would use Head and Shoulders shampoo on my face daily, which brought it almost back to normal.  I stopped using H&S on my face for a while hoping my face would stay normal or let the skin finally regrow (if that is the problem).  However, my face is redder than ever and slightly scaly, I think it is my skin trying to regrow still from the scratching, but I suppose it could be something else (like Seborrheic dermatitis).  Basically I was wondering if I should sit it out and let my skin try to regrow and look horrible in the process, or just continually use Head and Shoulders shampoo on my face to keep it looking semi-normal?
