Redness around foreskin and around urethra

Hello,
Iam 18 years old and one week ago i had sexual intercourse and used a lubricated condom as protection. about two to three days later i noticed an irratation on the left side of my foreskin and redness. Immediatly i was concerned and was depressed and stressed out all week that it was something serious like herpes. so i did some imformation on herpes and other STD's and foudn that i really had none of the symtoms of any of them. so i decided to go to the doctor anyways and told him what had happend and that i feel no pain just irratation and he said it was nothing serious and that it was possibly fungus or some bacteria that entered my foreskin and was now irratating it. he prescribed me some HYDERM 1% CR AND MONISTAT DERM CR AA 30GM MIX. i have been applying this twice a day on the affected area and find that the irratation feelign has gone down alot although now ther is a ring of redness around my foreskin and redness around my japeye (urethra). will it get better or will i have to see a doctor again??
