Redness around wart

My 6 year old daughter has a large wart on the palm of her hand. I was treating with Compund W but she then developed erythema around the wart. She is on day 5 of Keflex for this but I haven't seen much improvement. What would the next step be?

Hi.
The erythema around the wart could be due to irritation caused by the medicine you are currently using for the wart.
Keflex is an antibiotic and can be used for soft tissue infection.
You may try to discontinue the medicine you are using for the wart and see if the erythema would resolve.
Please bring your daughter back to her physician for proper evaluation.
Good luck.
