Redness in the face/nose

I am a 28 yera old female.  I have redness in the cheeks/nose for 2 months now.  Haven't done anything about it.  i think it looks like the lupus butterfly rash( the only sympton I possibly have out of all lupus symtons listed on Webmd.com) but my friends at work think otherwise, maybe rosacea and I should do nothing.  It only looks redder wether out in the cold (20's degrees) or after taking a warm shower, or like today a coworker/mabnager at work were asking me why my face was red after working in the grill area at McDonald's.

I have used a basic loiton everytday and the areas are still red. Is this serious and should go see some type of doctor or should I do nothing?

Definitely you need to get this rash evaluated for both lupus and rosacea. Rash in lupus is a typical butterfly patterned rash and involves the cheeks and nose. Rosacea is a cutaneous disorder primarily of the central part of the face , such as forehead; cheeks ;nose; and chin.
Treatment options vary from antibiotic creams, antihistaminics, sun screens to laser treatment. A dermatologist’s evaluation will be the best.
