Redness on glans(glands) penis

Redness on glans(glands) penis

I am a 23 year old sexually active, circumsized, healthy male. I have had 2 sexual partners both of whom are clean with no STD or history thereof. Sometimes after intercourse I used to have a redness and tenderness on one side of the glans (glands) or right under the rim of the glans (glands) which hurt to touch, mainly it hurt to rub. It usually went away on its own after a while.
2 days back i had sexual intercourse again with my girlfriend with no pain or anything post intercourse but i noticed a slight reddening on one side. Today I masturbated vigorously for about 30 minutes and after wards when i was cleaning I noticed the skin was extremely sensitive to touch on one side of the glans (glands) and very red and hurt very much if i tried to even softly rub it.  Now I play a lot of sports as well so maybe its a fungal infection due to the moisture but since I am circumcised I don't know how that could be. Maybe its mild balanitis or an STD or what, I'm very worried because at least right now it hurts a lot and it looks like I'll never be able to have sex again.

Here are some pictures.

Hello,
From the symptoms and pictures it looks like friction rub and chafing rather than fungal infection which presents with itchy skin. Avoid intercourse and masturbation for some days. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen helps. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
