Hi,

Treatment of linear epidermal nevi is difficult. Many therapies have been tried, including topical and intralesional glucocorticoids, topical and systemic retinoids, and topical 5-fluoruracil. Other methods include dermabrasion, liquid nitrogen cryotherapy, laser therapy, and surgical excision. Surgical excision provides the best opportunity for complete remission but is complicated by the potential size of the scar. Talk to your doctor about the options mentioned and discuss which is suited for you. Take care and keep us posted.
