Reoccurring boils on face.

Hi.  I am a 34 year old female.  I've had pretty normal skin up until recently.  I only had breakouts right before my period would start but thats about it.  About a month ago I used a new foundation on my face and a week after that my face broke out.  I'm not sure if that was the cause or not though.  I had a pimple on the bridge of my nose right between my eyes and a day after I noticed it I woke up and my eye was swollen shut.  It scared me to death.  I had a boil once when I was a lot younger but none since then.  And I've never had anything like that happen on my face.  I went to the ER that night and the doctor hardly even looked at me.  All he said was that it was either an infection or a spider bite.  He gave me amoxicillin and told me to taken 2 a day for 10 days.  That next day a boil appeared on my chin.  I took the antibiotics that he gave me.  The boil between my eyes finally came to a head and came out but it has left a little knot there.  I think another boil was forming above it and its not went away.  The boil on my chin is going away but there is still a knot there.  Well I thought all was healing but 3 weeks later I wake up and see a pimple on my cheek.  The next day I wake up and the whole side of my face is swollen like crazy.  My hubby had his doc call me in some bactrim and some kind of cream.  I have never dealt with anything on my face like this.  I'm a very clean person.  My appearance freaks me out and I wont go outdoors now.  I have 2 toddler and they want to play outside and I make my hubby take them out alone because I hate to be seen.  Please someone help me.  The doctors just write antibiotics and wont do any tests to check to see what this is or whats causing it.  I'm gonna be left scarred and I want rid of these for good.  Its like as soon as the antibiotics have left my system they start coming back. Why has this started now and what do I do to get rid of them for good.  Please if anyone can help me I'd be forever grateful.  Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.

I have this too. Its a mycobacterial skin infection. Treatable with a long course of antibiotics, depending on which strain you have.
