Retin A Micro

by z075056, Apr 28, 2008 09:41AM
So I went to the second dermotologist about the issue I am having. I have some bumps on my forsekin and the first doctor said they are from "sweat retention" and to use dexomethosone. I did that for 2 weeks and it did absolutely nothing. The second dermotologist I went to told me its some kind of viral thing and asked me if I have been swimming? I told him I have been in a suanna but thats about it. He gave me Retin A Micro to use and said to come back in 3 weeks. I am not sure what happeneing, bit it seems that its ruining my skin. A very very tiny lair of the foreskin is peeling off and the bumps are still visible althoug they have become smaller. Either case, it seems that this Retin A Micro is used to treat acne! I dont have ance on my foreskin and now im worried that it is messing my skin up and not curing anything. Does anyone know why he would give me this Acne medication if its going to ruin my skin? I only apply it on the spots/ bumps and it seems to just ruin the skin around them. Still no pain or ichcing or anything, just dry/ cracked skin. very worried.

To: anyone
Anyone have any input? Also, i called the doctor and he said i have Mollscum. Its been almost 1 week now and the medicaion seems to be working pretyy well. most of the bumps are not visible anymore and a few are red, but flat. My skin is really messed up though, its cracked but seems to have stopped peeling. Either way I have read up on this desease and it is horrible. Dr. Says that the good thing is once you cure it there is a small chance it will come back...he said "its better then herpes or warts, im telling you".
