Retin A???

Hey, My dermo gave me Retin A cream to go along with my accutane. She said it would help clear up some of the dark spots I had on my skin from the acne. Will this help? What is this stuff usually used for ?   Thanks

It will.  The cream has been around for ages.  I use daily, and it has gradually gotten Rosacea outbreak under control.  Mine looks like acne.  You can continue using after you are finished with accutane.

Many people use it routinely to help skin sluff off dead cells.  Great cream.

Hello,
Tretinoin or Retin A is the acidic form of vitamin A. it is used for acne as well as post inflammatory hyperpigmentation caused by acne scars after acne. You can use it as advised by your dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

I used Retin-A last year. This only works if you are using it long term. It helps your skin to let go of dead skin cells so they don't clog your pores. And helps get rid of damaged areas. From what I understand, it makes way for new skin. It worked quite well for me, until I had to stop because I'm trying to start a family. But as soon as it is safe to, I will be using it again to get rid of scarring from hives on my face. This will dry out your skin though, so you should use it every second day or make sure you find a good moisturizer. I use a lotion called "Coplex 15". It is non-comedogenic (wont clog pores).
