Retin a around the eye

Can I apply retin A cream 0.05 around The eyes at upper and lower lids? Will it decrese the wrinkles or accentuate it? Thanks

I suspect it is too harsh as complaints about increased wrinkles from retin A are just a google away.  It sounds like it's just too drying.  The last thing you want is to be pulling at your eyes because they feel tight and itchy.  Maybe try something with vitamin C.  That seems to soften fine lines well, but do not get it in your eyes because it has enough acid to cause a burning sensation.

How are you? With Retin A (tretinoin) acne treatment, it is highly recommended that it should be kept away from the eyes, the mouth, angles of the nose, and mucous membranes. This is because topical use may induce severe local erythema and peeling at the site of application. Check with your doctor for proper management with the wrinkles that is best for you.
