Ring worm or ?????

I have small circular spots on my scrotum, They seem to have whiteish edges. They do itch. Do you have any idea what this could be?

Hi there,
The possible causes of your symptoms could be infected hair follicle, sebaceous cysts, eczema or a fungal infection. Sebaceous cysts are usually white or cream in color and can vary in size from quite tiny to the size of a large pea, or even bigger. They contain a cheesy-like substance made of breakdown products of skin tissues including keratin and sebum. Avoid scratching as it can spread the infection and lead to scarring. Seek the opinion of a dermatologist. I hope it helps.
Best luck and kind regards!
