Ripped penis

I'm 20yrs old, While masturbating I mistakenly happen to tear some of the skin under the head of my penis. This happened 3 years ago and the area has healed but the skin had been attached correctly to the head and around the torn region is still blue color. I fear going to a doctor or tell my parents about it, my concern is will it hinder my sex life in future without pain due to this and what can i do to get the skin attached to its position like before.?
Waiting for your reply..

Hi there,
Sorry to hear! Hope it's not too painful.
The best thing to do is to let it fully heal before doing any other sexual activity.
You don't have to tell the doctor it was from masturbating (although he's probably dealt with similar situations before); you can simply say it was during foreplay. The only reason I recommend getting it checked out is so he can recommend or prescribe you a healing cream or ointment to quicken the process. After all, the sooner the better, right?
The genital area heals quite well so I wouldn't worry about any future problems. Just be sure it is fully healed before taking part in any sexual activities.

All the best,
Brittany

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
If the skin is still attached then it needs to be removed because it may be due to frenulum breve which may hinder in intercourse by restricting the movement of foreskin. Please get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
