Rosacea Itching

Hello Doc and thanks for answering my question (if you can get to it). I have Rosacea and it's driving me mad. I can't use any products on my face or it reacts as if its going to war on me. There is a new product advertised SensiTOne which claims "It has even been tested on people with rosacea with a 75% success rate at reducing redness without irritation!" Do you know anything of this product and is it worth giving it a try? I have extremely sensitive skin and it itches even where my hair touches it, and I get lumps under the skin from it. Please help.

Thank you doctor I appreciate the time you took to respond. I have been diagnosed and was given Rosex as a treatment but it didn't work. The only thing I can do is continue to wash my face in spring water because the tap water (chlorinated) also causes severe reaction. I will go to a Dermatologist soon. I live 2.5 hours away from the nearest city so trips in there are rare. I really thank you for your help and I will let you know what happens,

Kindest Regards,
Rhiannon

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I am unaware of SensiTone products but from the description of your symptoms if your skin is so sensitive then you should get this allergy tested on your skin before using it as it may cause contact dermatitis and trigger rosacea.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Just wanted to add that I don't drink alcohol, tea or coffee, I'm a vegetarian, and I have psoriasis, contact dermatitis and exczma. I's in a mess here
