Rosacea/Sebhorric Dermatits

I have had rosacea and sebhorric dermatits for about 7 years. I have tried lasers, medications u name it and nothing works. Recently I have been applying coconut oil and it is helping my bumps and overall smoothness but it causes
more pinkness/redness on my face. I went and saw an intergrated dermatologist. She recommended i try desonide
cream for 2 weeks and then I think once a week. I am very nervous because I keep reading about how topical steroids
further induce rosacea. I dont know what to do. I am terrified. She also gave me samples of vanicream to try out.
What should I do?
