Rough spot on penis

by JohnAdam, Oct 18, 2004 12:00AM
I have had a tiny rough raised spot on the end of my penis for years.  I'd like it removed, or reduced.  I've had it treated and reduced with liquid nitrogen but the effects are not permanent.  What treatment options are available?  Cautery?

It's hard for me to tell you, because I don't know what it is.  Assuming it's a benign lesion of some sort, perhaps your dermatologist or urologist can cauterize it.  On the other hand, if it's been there for years, perhaps it would be best to leave it alone.  I suggest you explore the pluses (chances of success) and minuses (like scarring risk) before proceeding.

Best.
