My 3 year old has had a circular rash on her left cheek for over 2 months. I don't even remember how it started.
It is dry and scaley. Some days it is
brightBright beginnings red, other days it is just pink. Hydrocortizone doesn't improve it but a heavy night cream seems to help a

Little tummys. It doesn't seem to bother her at all though. I noticed the other day she has a small

Skin color - patchy starting on her other cheek.
Any ideas?

On the other hand, sometimes these things are just skin irritations. When nothing else was up--no fever, no symptoms but the rash, no "punky" look, no "off" behavior--I sometimes just put a little bit of plain vaseline (non-scented) on there to protect the cheeks from the cold and dry weather, and from further irritation due to rubbing, etc. If the vaseline trick works, it's probably just an irritated skin issue.
