Rozex (metrodinazole) for steroid induced rosacea

Rozex (metrodinazole) for steroid induced rosacea

Hello,
I have just been diagnosised with a steroid induced rosacea after 4 months use of Diprosone (I am French, I am not sure that medical preparations are called the same in the US)
I totally stopped to apply Diprosone 4 days ago and started a Rozex ointment (metronidazole) today.
I would like to know how long it will take for my skin to get back to normal.
I also noticed that you recommand Tacrolimus ointment in that case. Do you think metronidazole is a good treatment as well?
Is it better to use an antibiotic per os treatment?
Many thanks in advance for your help,

Anne, from Paris
