SMALL CUTS ON PENIS WON'T HEAL

by out2nite, Aug 17, 2006 12:00AM
For the past couple of years I have had some small cuts that look like strech mark lines on my penis shaft near circumcised area. When i start to have an erection, there are a couple areas that hurt, making it difficult to have a proper erection. When my penis is most erect, it really hurts in that area. I suppose this is all due to friction. I have gone to a urologist a few times who says that he sees some plaque areas, but nothing that was a serious problem. He also gave me a perscription for hydrocortzone cream. It doesn't seem to work. I have gone about 7 days, giving time to heal. But when I try to get erect after that time, it hurts in those same areas. You can barely see a tiny scratch mark in the area, which is where it hurts. Do I have to give it even more time without erection to heal? Is it possible I have damaged the area permanently?

I thunk you may indeed have to wait a bit longer, as well as mositrizing generously.  But you don't need to worry about permanant damage.  That simply doesn't happen, so relax.

Take care.

any new update on this topic?  Did it heal?

Sometimes it is better than others. It almost seems as if some soaps make the area more irritated. It still is not 100%

Has the doc in this forum said how long a cut on penis (head or shaft) take to heal and fade? I've had a cut that I think came from an hard lap dancer almost 3 weeks ago and yours sounds like a month. In my case it's healed over but is still clearly red and thin-skinned (on head).
