STD or Balantis?

I am a 18 year old male and previously had unprotected sex with my girlfriend, we were both virgins before we met and never have done anything with anyone else so we know that we are both clean. I wash every day and have in the past washed myself with shower gels on my penis and the foreskin.

Anyways. The problem is that I have a redish sore patch on the side of my foreskin which seems to look like it has dry skin around the red area. Also I did have white marks on the other side of my penis but they have cleared up now. Also the head of my penis gets a little inflamed and red but lately it's gotten shiny and when I rub it, bits of skin may come off it.

Generally lately the foreskin has become a little itchy but not too bad and the redish sore doesn't hurt at all, it's just something I know is there. One last thing is that a small spot has formed around the head of my penis, whiteish in colour, but is under the skin.

I have tried to describe my symptoms as much as possible, could provide and image if it helps and if I can on this forum.

Thank you for your help in advance

You may have a case of yeast (fungus) infection, also called balanophostitis ( redness of the penis head and foreskin inflamed) I had same symptoms years ago. Medicine didn't help me so I ended up having a circumcision surgery. Not suggesting you the surgery, go to the doctor and tell him to prescribe you Nystatin cream, this helped me when a had a minor case after my surgery. Please don't overuse this medication, anly as prescribed by your doctor. Good luck. Questions? go ahead!!

Try an antifungal cream such as Lotrimin.
