to toe not localized at all, and get worse at night while trying to sleep. This started at most a couple months ago, seemingly getting worse its now to the point where I cant sleep because I think there are bugs crawling on me. It literally feels as if ants are crawling through my body hair... legs arms, chest, pubic
hair, however there is never anything visibly there. I'm a very clean person showering two sometimes three times a day, I live in a nice clean apartment. I thought for a while it was maybe bed bugs or some type of mite associated with my matress or bedding... I'm obviously going to try a lice
shampoo over the counter and then proceed to see my doctor. Followed by a complete quarntine of my apartment. However I was wondering if this was a lice
problem would I see them? Does this sound like symptoms to scabies, would they give a crawling sensation all over or just localized, and are they visible? I have not noticed any abnormal sores or rashes, I'm a 23 yr old male so I have the occasional break out on the face
, backs of my arms, and rear end, but not seemingly any worse than my average bad skin. I'm completely misreable... and very tried, anything would help at this point. I'm just affraid to be called crazy and have someone tell me its in my mind. Cause this is deffinately something that needs to go away right now.
This is cerainly not scabies, but then pediculosis is a real possibility. But then do take an antihistaminic like Zyrtec 1 at bedtime till you meet the doc,and do use the anti lice.Do not drive after taking the tab.
I could not sleep for the past two weeks because I felt a very slight sensation of what felt like tiny bugs crawling on my body; mostly on my head, neck and arms I tried to find something on me or the sheets, but found nothing! I had no rash or bites. I also noticed that I was a little dizzy during the day. The feeling of crawling bugs was much more noticeable while I tried to sleep. I finally found this forum and was relieved to others suffering the same symptoms. My symptoms started a few days after I started taking a new multivitamin that has 5 times as much of the daily requirement of Niacin (B3). When I googled the symptoms of Niacin overdose, low and behold, I had three of the five.......itchy, dizziness, constipation. I am thrilled to be able to get a full night's sleep again. I decided to post my experience in hopes that it may help someone else.
